I am glad this day has finally come. I am proud to have attended the University of Colorado but this was one of several black eyes on the school that I'm glad has finally been resolved. I still don't plan on ever donating to the CU Foundation but I do respect the leadership of CU President Hank Brown too bad he is retiring soon.
Quite frankly this case is a sorry commentary on what passes as academic free speech and viable education in many universities throughtout this country. Imagine the outrageous statements made by this wannabe "academic" who was allowed to retain his job and a high yearly salary. In fact although terminated he will recieve $100,000 for another year while the majority of working average Joes have to work their as_ses off to make half that amount, if they are lucky!
