I recently referred someone to check out the degreeinfo forums and received the following reply; perhaps someone can help?? Brian, thanks for your answer. I have tried to login into DegreeInfo, and I have created a user name and account before, twice actually, and I never get the email confirmation that one needs to use in order to activate their account, in order to post. I can view other messages, but not contact any members.

Here's another persons comments that tried to join this forum. Yeah, I've tried to sign up there a couple of times. I don't think they've added a new member in over a year. It's good to cruise once in a while, but if you have a question, you're SOL.
Yet another Here' another.... I've had the same go 'round with degreeinfo as everyone else. Tried to sign up twice -- they easily created an ID for me - but no e-mail confirmation. I can log in but not post, etc. I tried to notify them by e-mail to their contact address and it was sent back to me rejected as "spam!" Dunno what it takes. I'll just have to be content with this forum, degreediscussion and degreeboard (if it comes back).
Yikes, Looks like we're having problems with email confirmation. I will look into this and get it resolved. My apologies.

Any Resolution Yet?? I'm still hearing from folks on other forums that thus far they still have been unable to complete their registration to post here; can this be resolved??
On a related note, I haven't received any email notifications of new postings to subscribed threads since 18 January.
Hille (HBeth) emails me that as of August 8th, 2007, she is still having trouble signing on to degreeinfo. She also notes that she'd like to answer some questions on TESC.
There seems to be some serious problems with the registration process, and even some old-time members got booted back to "Awaiting e-mail Confirmation" status. I've been going through the list and correcting things by hand, which is a rather tedious process to say the least. If anyone hears of someone with registration issues, please PM me with their username (very important) and I'll take care of it.
