    A NEW PRESIDENT FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA UNIVERSITY FOR PROFESSIONAL STUDIES.

    The Board of Directors of Southern California University for Professional Studies (SCU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Caroll Ryan as President and Chief Academic Officer. Dr. Ryan brings over 20 years of professional experience and almost 15 years of educational experience to the position. Dr. Ryan has been with the University since 1994. From the inception, she has been a significant force of the psychology department holding roles as a Mentor, Academic Advisor, Department Chair and Dean. Prior to coming to SCU, Dr. Ryan had a private practice in Tustin, California for over 20 years. Dr. Ryan is completing a Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Sport Psychology at Northcentral University. She holds a Doctor of Psychology degree from Southern California University for Professional Studies, a Master of Arts in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from Azusa Pacific University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CSU, Fullerton. Dr. Ryan will make the goal to gain national accreditation a top priority. The Board of Directors believes that her broad base of experience provides a sound foundation to lead the university. In her role as Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Ryan will insure the academic integrity and quality of all SCU programs. Together with the academic team at SCU, she will architect the framework for success.
