Yes, this has been a problem for a while. I don't think it's just limited to Firefox users, though. I've had it while testing IE, although I'm almost always a Firefox user. -=Steve=-
I have encountered the same situation regardless of web browser. All I do is click the 'back' button in the browser, copy the text, return to the discussion thread, and then reply to the posting again. I suspect the root cause can be tracked back to the forum software / database interface.
Funny, I was just going to post on this. It's pitiful how poor the posting function works. IMO, it works about 50% of the time (where I instinctively know to copy my text to clipboard before hitting submit). I don't know php, but this is clearly not browser dependant (same message in IE and firefox). Makes me wonder how many people just go elsewhere (instantcert, degreeinfo, etc). Greg
I apologize for the problems. There are definitely some issues with this version of VBulletin, and in particular, there are some recent issues with posting and some administrative stuff that we're aware of. We are planning to upgrade the VBulletin software that runs the board to the current version, but it's a big job and so we have to do it when I have enough time to make sure that everything goes smoothly. I'm hoping that this will happen in the next 30-45 days. In the meantime, we've been trying to track down the source of the problem with posting and am hopeful that we will get that resolved before long. Thanks for your patience.
