Well.. hard to believe, but they found someone else for the job. I guess I took a risk and it didn't pan out. So I will remain where I am at. Disappointing.

They tell me I came in Second in the New search, but I honestly thought I had it in the bag and that this was only a formality. The other candidate came from another State department and they do have preferential hiring, plus this individual already worked in a similar capacity in the other department.
keep tabs on the various State agencies. Each state should have a state personnel board website where they post ALL of their listings department to department. Once again, keep it up Xarick. You will get it next time, or perhaps even land an even better job! Abner
I will keep looking. For the time being I think I am gonna move into the Rail department in my company as soon as they open it up again. So I will drive the light rail trains instead of bus.
