Education is a very broad term. We learn most of our life from many sources. People learn to diversify, today's Engineers need to be very versatile, they need to be project managers, managers, communicators and many other treads. Education is our life. Then we we let our body go all we have is what we learned and how we leaved is what others have from us. When we change jobs we grow, at times we are needed in other places, at times we need to learn a lesson and at times we have to pass a test. Education formal or informal is integral part of our life. Wile it is not guaranty for a job a better educated person may have a better chance at better paying, satisfying or serving job.
