Hi. Can anyone please tell me if this is normal?

2 years for a master's in education and 3 years for an Ed. D. ?

So, is it possible for one to complete a master's and education doctorate in a total of 5 years?

I'm just curious as I thought it would take longer, but perhaps I was thinking of research based Ph.D.'s instead.

    Thanks.

I believe so Jacques. Masters and Doctoral level coursework may
be completed in 3 years. For example, at NCU ( www.ncu.edu ),
a student can complete 51 credits in three years. That is an
average of 1- 2 three credit courses every 4 months, 18 credits
per year. Year four and five may be allocated for dissertation
completion and comps. Which university peaks your interest?
