Maybe it is time to start taking action. I guess I have been so obsessed with getting a Bachelors because I think it will solve my ills. Instead now I am gonna focus on taking some classes at my local community college in various areas to see what it is I would really enjoy. I am probably gonna take a drafting class, accounting class, networking class and a math class(mainly just cause I love math) and see what really interests me. Maybe then it will be easier to get a focus. Suggestions of other classes I might consider trying?
Abner's right. I never knew that community colleges had so many online classes. Try an Economics class, which you'll need if you get an accounting or business degree. Check out New England College of Finance www.finance.edu which is an accredited two-year college. They have a lot of transfer programs to four-year degree programs, some quite good.
You might check out Chemeketa Community College www.chemeketa.edu , Clackamas Community College www.clackamas.cc.or.us , or Clatsop Community College www.clatsopcollege.com for your associate's, as they would get you in-state tuition.
I actually already have an associates of applied science. I am simply gonna take a few classes to see what it is I would like to do. Then figure out where to go from there. My associates is from Clackamas community college.
hmm. chemeketa has an interesting option.. certificate in CAD. I could couple that with my associates in water quality. My work experience in water/wastewater treatment and maybe have some good job opportunities as a cad designer for water wastewater firms.
