Wow, what a story. Naturopaths are very big in the Puget Sound area of Washington. From time to time, I have done some guest lecturing at the naturopath program at Bastyr, which I understand is one of the larger such programs in the country.

The person described in the story certainly would not have been licensed as a naturopath in this state.

You know, while this guy wasn't trained in a 4 year ND program like Bastyr I am not sure that some of the licensed ND's wouldn't been doing the same weirdness though. They utilize non-scientific methods such as chelation (for things other than heavy metals) and homoeopathy and other weird things like mentioned in the article, including injecting hydrogen peroxide. At least you have a Board of Naturopathic Medicine in Mexico to complain to if your family member is killed. In Colorado these correspondence school naturopaths have no one overseeimg them. Complex issues. Note what happened to his 'school' in Arkansas
