I just finished a training program to teach online. I don't want to say what school right now because I don't want to jinx it The last time I completed a program, I never taught a class. As I work through my PhD, I started to wonder about using elective that would best position me to teach other subjects. Where is the greatest need (from the electives I can take and will be able to applied for tuition assistance)? Computer Science, Financial Management, Health Care Administration, Organizational Leadership, or Human Resources Management?
I voted FM The hiring dean for online faculty at Keiser College always said that Finance was the hardest subject for which to fine good instructors. -=Steve=-
I didn't vote b/c there wasn't a choice for what I think is the hottest - which is NURSING. Anything related to nursing, so maybe health care admin?
similar to g, I didn't vote because I didn't see my favorite choice, Ethics (Business Ethics, Medical Ethics, etc.). Maybe that's inside the Leadership option. Jack
I didn't vote because the method of responding doesn't allow one to answer the question as asked, to wit: What subjects (plural) are in the greatest need for online adjuncts? The question calls for the responder to be able to specify more than one choice. By selecting the radio buttons instead of checkboxes, responders may only choose one. I also would have worded the question: In what subject areas are online adjuncts most needed? but that's an entirely different matter.
