    Jimmy,
I've found something for insomniacs as well as folks without sleep problems. I usually last a few pages and I'm out cold. Try http://xxx.lanl.gov/abs/hep-th/911162. It deals with Noncommutative Geometry & Matrix Theory: Compactification on Tori. If you figure it out let me know. If not, don't worry, I'll still be on the same pages. It also works well hanging pictures. Even if we aren't certain which dimension they are occupying.

Not very heavy, just very "heavy". Guaranteed to allow peace and whispers at cocktail parties. Unless you run into a quantum geek, then you will wish good old Scotty et alli were still around. Boring oneself is tolerable. With back-up, it's triple time and a primer on hot cars will help. If he/she belongs to The Porsche Club, and is female, I'm getting hitched again.

My luck, she'll be a feminist and liberal. Must work on becoming more accepting, next month or year or sometime, maybe.

Forget it! I'll save the "thems" for "those". I'm sure the feeling is mutual. Life is too short to compromise yourself attempting to appease others. A sus scorfa is still a pig, just a pro.

    Hi Clay,

Forget it. My math skills are about as good as a one year old's.

I posted my link for the real math wizards on here.

Liberal? There is no such thing anymore. They are, by and large, leftist radicals.

A liberal of the caliber of John and Robert Kennedy, Hubert Humphrey, Walter Mondale, Nelson Rockefeller, George Romney, Jacob Javits, Charles Percy, Charles Mathias and so forth, is about as dead as most of these men are!

    Jimmy,
Goes to show that if you "ghost it" for a tad you awake with a new language and social proprieties unheard of, when a duck was a duck. Reckon I'll go back to "reality land" and play with lawn darts and everything else considered dangerous by idiots failing to understand gasoline is flammable and licking electrical wires WILL help determine the hot line.

I wonder why, when I was a kid, no one choked on anything? Kids played with arrows, knives, all kinds of regular kid toys. Soon kids will only be able to play with beach balls handled by adult MIT beach ball PhD.'s

They will outlaw trikes, bikes, swings, shoestrings etc... when we should outlaw parents unable to operate any of the above. Yeah! Yeah! It's their right to be parents, but only if they can afford their progeny and have the I.Q. required to properly instruct their "love children" in civility and common sense. I'm not paying for kids someone accidentally had, or purposely had. If not, sterilization is the only way to save the race from reverting to troglodytes.

I survived on military wages for years. Never even considered kids until I could afford them (including insurance). What has happened to responsibility for our actions and the actions of our children?

What has happened to the greatest country in the world, now no one is responsible for squat? Where are all the volunteers helping fellow Americans in need? And where are the politicians, besides taking legal bribes, when Joe Citizen wants to talk about problems. The stinking politicians work for US, not vica versa. We owe them respect, they owe use integrity and doing as we request. Not what some money-man demands.

The world is a bad place, full of bad people, with bad intentions,
We need to come together, liberals and conservatives, to save our country and the ideals we treasured. Not ideas we have bastardized, to satisfy the few, in an attempt to play PC hypocrisy.

Lets make our kids respect us, look up to us as the folks obligated to safeguard, teach, and love them without regard for ourselves. They are more important than anything, lets show them by being parents, not buddies. Punish them for doing wrong, but make the punishment fair and just. Teach by example not words. Don't steal, lie, or do anything that we don't want our kids to emulate. Be kind to others, and use language we want them to use They are our ONLY future. And praise them for their accomplishments.

This gave me a brief rest from my math and something I've wanted to saw awhile. Sorry for the rant. But I cannot understand how one or two generations have destroyed things so much,

    Re: Same

When I think back on all the trees I fell out of, roofs I slid off, things that tore open my skull, nails, spears, fish hooks, glass and other that got through me, dogs that nearly tore my face off (this happened twice), bears that chased me, other assorted animals that bit me, food poisoning I should have had, neighborhoods I shouldn't have been in alone, times I went miles from home without supervision, berries I shouldn't have eaten, times I nearly drown, near death experiences I just missed ... I wonder how I made it out of childhood alive.

When I was a kid -- living was hazardous to your health. :D

Ah, those were the days. Starting to feel some of the old wounds, though, I notice. Like that time we kids .... ah, well ... time to inflate a beach ball and bounce it around....

My whole point was kids are our future, lets set xamples so the past injustices do not happen again and future kids are honest and fair with their fellow humans. I know it's an unrealistic wish, but it's better than many.

    Same Again

    Quinn,
You have overcome horrors most of us couldn't imagine and have become a fine example to emulate. Someone to be admired for suffering such indignities and pain. You have accomplished much to be proud of and are an example for folks, young and old, to learn from when we complain of minor stupid problems. You put things into perspective.
    BestWishes,
    Clay:)
