I started to think about my education and realized that I am most proud of my BS degree. It took the most planning and effort (120cr compared to 36cr) and it was the degree that set me apart from the "Associated degree required Bachelors preferred" section of the classified.

What degree are you most proud of and why?

I can't use the word "pride" in my description, but...

My graduate degree in criminal justice was richly rewarding and I enjoyed it the most, by far. My undergraduate degree was in business management and it was harder to obtain (academically), but it was also dry and boring.

    Second BS

I would have to say my BS from UOP, partly because the academic work, but mainly because of the contacts and friends I made serving as my fellow students Academic Counselor. The commencement was something to see, I almost got misty eyed because of the reception I got from the students I counseled :)

I had one student who is terminally ill (i'll leave his name out for obvious reasons) who told me I was the reason he was able to finish his BS degree before he died; that was worth it all to me. I told him over and over that he put forth the effort, I just gave him direction, but it still felt really good knowing that his family was able to see him walk accross that stage.

Since I was the first one in my family to graduate from college, I voted for the bachelor's degree.

I'd have to say 98.6 has been most beneficial.

Actually my first 61 hours from my junior college(did not get assoicates). I was a horrible student in high school and I was very uncertain I could do it. When I got my mini grade card from my first college class I passed my senior year of high school, I think I looked at it a dozen times.

Wow, this is a though one, but I definitely go with Kinder garden. Since I had to do it three times (My mom sent me when I was three, four, and five years old to get me out of the house) I really learned everything I needed to know.

    Bachelor's by default

I said my Bachelor's since it's the one I've completed. I'm really looking forward to my doctoral work, however, so I expect that if you hold this poll again in five or so years my answer will be different.

    Undergrad stuff hands down

Since my passion was always ministry, I would have to agree that my bachelor's was my favorite. I did a brief stint in seminary (24/98 units) toward an MDiv which was also fulfilling along the lines of my primary interests. My MBA was a lot of work academically but did not light my fire as much as the undergraduate coursework.

Let's see, I have an AA, BS and an MA... mmmmmmm... I am definately most proud of my AA degree. Whenever anyone mentions my AA degree, I bristle in pride and my chest sticks out even further. The BS and the MA are good, but the AA is my crowning joy. :D

Jimmy convinced me that I should go with my B.A. too, for the same reason.

It's not on the list -- so I checked "all of them equally" -- but the diploma of which I am most proud is my high school "Dogwood".

I was the first in generations in my direct line to finish high school (some came very close), and I nearly missed the opportunity due to family financial reasons. To finish high school, I had to leave home at 18 a few months before graduation. And I did it with honors and was a Tommy Douglas scholar. My politics have since changed -- I'm no longer much likely to be considered a Tommy Douglas scholar -- but that was a coup.

Once I had graduated, the family bar was raised -- and no one after me was expected to do any less. My own children appear to be on the right path -- all honor roll students in middle and high school -- and all appear to be on the same road to completion.

I was also the first to enter university (was accepted to enter both local univeristies -- but selected Simon Fraser rather than UBC). Sure there were those who were disappointed when I left the brick-and-mortar world in disgust, despite my high marks. But such is life.

That simple Dogwood (even though I no longer even have a copy of it) will always be the one I prize the most in my heart. So I picked "all of them equally" because none could equal that simple high school graduation.

    Eloquently said, Quinn.

Of which degree am I most proud? Whichever one most enrages millists & cowards.

I clicked "None of them" for the same reason as Quinn. The one I am most proud of is my High School diploma. As with Quinn, I am the first & only in my known direct lineage that earned one. However, that isn't the only reason. I was hospitalized just before the start of my second year, and missed the first semester. With the help of some flexible teachers and some work, I was able to graduate on time.

I am proud of my doctorate as well. I am the only one in the family to hold one, but that isn't the only reason. In an ironic twist of symmetry, several months after completing the degree, I was diagnosed with a long term illness and once again hospitalized, this time for a splenectomy.
