My old Dad, now 87 years old (still playing golf) was in the Navy. He served in the Pacific during WWII and has told me many stories of his experiences during the war. The stories of the naval battles sound terrifying. I've got some photos of my Dad aboard his ship but it continues to be hard for me to imagine him in those dire circumstances. My highest respect goes out to those in uniform who protect(ed) our country. Jack
