And then, regardless of the Bush connection, if any, let's also not ignore the question of whether or not it's terrible news that Marymount College is closing. I hate to hear that... but that's just me.
Well, he didn't say anything about it, did he? And I didn't specify any particular Bush or bush. Just spoofing some of the hyperbolic political speech that has crept into the forum.

But this is far from the first swallowing up of a small Catholic school by a neighbouring larger one--in order NOT to turn the smaller school's students out by simply closing the doors of the financially moribund smaller school. One thinks of: Mercy College > University of Detroit (now UD-M) Barat College > De Paul University Mallinckrodt and Mundelein Colleges > Loyola University Chicago the various absorptions of smaller Jesuit theological schools (West Baden, etc.). Nobody was "expelled" in any of these instances. Nor, in my own circles, was anybody expelled when Northwestern College > Dr Martin Luther College (now MLC).
Okay, fine... since Bruce didn't respond, we'll use your answer. What I was gonna' say, if he had answered, was that maybe if he pulled out his... well, using your answer... his Oldsmobile and started shooting at the ground around your feet, maybe you'd dance even faster. But... I dunno... somehow it just doesn't work with the Oldmobile thing. Plus the moment's passed now. And I was just kiddin' around anyway. Ya' had to be there, I guess.
