Does this forum need more administrators?

Do the Illuminati, Bilderbergers or whoever owns this site want more administrators?

    Any volunteers?

I appears that with the strike of the Liberterian Troll, the answer maybe yes the board needs more administration!

    As Illuminatus and Bilderberg?

    Oh...as moderators. Yeah, okay.

  5. Well, in addition to those already nominated.... I propose adding nosborne, Mr. Engineer, and Abner..... Just to keep things in balance you know.....

DTechBA and gkillion can be the enforcers...... after they get sent off to the DegreeInfo Charm School & Re-education Camp for a bit....

I nominate Jimmy and DesElms. Both of these men are articulate and come from opposite sides of the bench - they can strike a good balance. Bruce is doing a good job, but like most of us, has a real job as well.

I'd certainly love to have the help, and while I do have the ability to bestow moderator powers on anyone, I'd feel uncomfortable doing that without Chip's permission.

I'll e-mail Chip and see if he's okay with it.

Thanks Mr. Engineer, but I think my letting my emotions get the best of me with the recent racist postings disqualify me.

Sometimes I wish I weren't so passionate about some issues. My wife detests racism, bigotry, hypocrisy, profanity, crudeness, slang, pornography, etc., but she doesn't get rattled when she see/hears such.

She expresses her disdain and moves on. She has a sweet, gentle spirit. Wonderful quality, simply wonderful!

And nobody nominated Ted Heiks for moderator?

Decimon, Ted, Bill Dayson, and Jimmy would all make good moderators to help out Bruce. Whomever it is should moderate ALL post no matter who crosses the line!

Ted would be a good choice; clear, concise, no needless banter or unkind words to newbies and oldies alike; very helpful with web links to people exploring DL for the first time! A great watchdog, because he's always in here...he would be an assest to degreeinfo....a good pitch man!
