I don't believe it, whatever FOX says. Blankets? Clothes? Medical attention? Sure.

They probably didn't even get the first one right - most people have been asking for water first, then food.

Indeed. Ther is not a chance, in my opinion, that this bible thing that the FOX NEWS CHANNEL broadcast could possibly be true. It just defies logic. This, I guarantee, is mere wishful thinking on the part of some nutjob religious zealot at FOX NEWS.

    Russell, Russell, Russell. [sigh]

Then, again, I should not be surprised. Your source, after all, was the FOX NEWS CHANNEL, wasn't it. If you trust them, then you're sure to be misled. And I say this as a friend who cares whether you look stupid around here. I'm serious.

Before quoting that good-for-nothing network with a straight face, I strongly suggest that you read this post -- both parts of it -- and then re-think how much stock you put into pretty much anything the FOX NEWS CHANNEL tells you.

A national media report is posted and the poster receives an ad hominem response. Neverthess, looking stupid around here is the least of my concerns.

Nahh, people in desperate need never turn to G-d. Couldn't happen. Never heard of it before in my life.

Gregg, my boy, please get a grip!

Because it was a national media report from a notoriously unreliable source. You left that part out. I didn't. And it wasn't ad hominem... not by a longshot.

That's not what I said, and you know it. Please don't ask me to defend that which I never said. I'm quite certain they're turning to God. I'm saying, simply, that there's no way in hell that the #2 item they're asking for is bibles. It's ludicrous. And, mark my words, it will eventually be shown to be incontrovertible FOX NEWS CHANNEL lie. That's what I said.

Please don't be condescending, little fauss. I'm taking all this as seriously as anyone else. Your brand of concern isn't better than mine.

Goes to show that even a mainstream Republican media outlet can report crap as well....

No one beleive this except perhaps the editors at Faux. Of course, they beleive the President isn't a weasley little liar too.

A weasley little liar for whom my hatred is increasing exponentially by the minute based on my witness of his mishandling of this tragedy. If it were Crawford that had been flooded, there would have been a Berlin-sized airlift of water, food, medical supplies, etc.; there would have been two national guardsment/soldiers for every citizen; and they would have put wheels on that hospital ship and dragged it from the gulf to Bush43's front yard. People around here don't get it. And I don't know how to make them. I cannot find the words to adequately express the frustration that brings me.

No politics about this tragedy, please.
