    Team,

My Americans friends here are quick to congratulate and/or condole us Brits when appropriate, so only right for us to say congratulations; I was really pleased to see the Discovery crew back safe and sound.

I'm not convinced the space program is the most worthy recipient of American taxpayers money, but I'm glad it worked out for morale if nothing else.

And...I guess the jokes about women drivers may not work so well now... :)

Those of us involved with the Return-to-Flight effort are relieved and excited, but also wondering where the Shuttle program is headed.

Eileen Collins is a USAF colonel. Bush should appoint her a general.

I second Rich's statement. I am proud to be part of the NASA team.

Are you involved with NASA? Yes - Eileen is da bomb! Great job by all of the crew especially Stephen Robinson from Moraga. Great space walk.

What are your feelings as to the future of the Shuttle project? Do you think it is about to fade into history?

And you didnt ask me Mr Engineer? Goodness. :) I thought I worked at JSC. I have the badge and everything. I have to come into NASA everyday (M-F ) and work. Or is it because we are just "librarians"? :) j/k
