A reader asks about them: http://www.standford-university.cjb.net A quick Google search suggests a possible connection with or re-naming of Almeda. Any thoughts?
It didn't last very long. The website seems to have been removed and the link delivered me to cjb.net's (a webhosting service) home page. I just Googled the name and got thousands of hits. Despite its stubborn refusal to even exist, Standford University neverthless manages to be extremely impressive: The Standford University knowlege systems lab, an international security fellowship at Standford, and many more. The president of Standford University delivered an address at China's Peking University. The Chinese say "May 26 of 2004 is ¡°Standford Day of PKU¡. President of Standford University visits PKU with some of his staff members on this day... which was warmly reacted in Ying Jie Communication Center with both laughers and applauses from the audience." (I guess so! Especially the "laughers"!! )
The Standford University knowlege systems lab, ......... ???? The web page title states: "Standford University Knowledge Systems Laboratory: ... but the url provided on said page (http://ksl.stanford.edu/ ) links to the real and 100 percent legitimate and accredited STANFORD UNIVERSITY. Someone fire the "Standford" web designer, please! LOL.
