Do any of you know a good prep material for Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)? Would you recommend CAPM for aspiring Project Manager? Regards Raj
I'm looking into taking the CAPM myself after I finish taking a graduate course in IT project management which is based on the PMBOK. I don't know much about the CAPM utility, and it's fairly new, but it seems like it would be useful if you don't have enough experience to take the PMP exam. Some job ads for project managers say things like "must be PMP or working towards PMP" or simply "PMI-certified" and since the CAPM is like the junior PMP, it seems to logically follow that the CAPM would qualify you for jobs like that.
