Of course, having done that, now I come here and see that you've started an entire thread just to tell me so. That's certainly interesting. I'll send you an email as well... that'll probably be faster/easier, anyway.

As an aside: What a peculiar feeling it is to have one's name as the subject of a thread here. I mean... I've been the subject of a thread here before, but always in conjunction with something else... like my birthday or something like that. And, of course I've been the subject of threads started by idiots in other fora who think they're actually accomplishing something by writing all kinds of despicable (but, nevertheless, terribly entertaining) things about me. But to have one's first name, middle initial, and last name (and spelled/capitalized correctly, too, I might add) -- and only that -- as a thread subject, is an odd sensation... the "why" of said oddness being something I can't actually articulate well; but trust me when I say that it's just an interestingly odd sensation. But I digress.

Anyway... I'll send you an email, Jack... although, now that I think about it: I have the feature wherein people here may send me emails through this forums software turned on, don't I? If so, that's always a good second choice when my PM inbox is full. It's certainly just as quick and easy to use... and goes straight into my email inbox, where I'll most definitely notice it sooner than a PM here. But, again I digress.

 

When clearing out one's mailbox, one needs to also click on the outbox and clear out one's outbox as well.

To make this post more on topic the "one" addressed above could be Gregg. To make this post more generally applicable, the "one" referenced above could be anyone clearing out their mailbox.

 

Cool! A one-size-fits-all type of on-topic remediation post. Generalists and specifists (is that even a word?) are now equally happy.

And, yes, I emptied (or nearly emptied) both the in and the out boxes in my PM account. And I Windexed the glass and ArmourAll'd the dashboard as long as I was there. Oh, yeah... and replaced the pine scent thingy on the rear-view mirror.

Weirdly, now no one's sending me any PMs. Go figure.
