I guess it's old news to me.

What would be somewhat more interesting, I think, would be to read your take on it... just generally. I mean... you brought it up and called it "interesting." In what way, precisely... er... you know... from your perspective, I mean?

It's worthy of note, I might add, that right next to the article you cite, in the "Sponsor News" area, is an advertisement reading "Earn Your Ministry Degree At Home From America's most unique divinity & graduate school;" and the link is to the notorious Masters Divinity School and Graduate School. Ugh.

Also, on another matter... just curious... I remember reading somewhere (can't remember now if it was here or another fora, but I'm guessing it doesn't matter) that you were not listing your Golden State MDiv in your signature for... er... um... shoot... now I can't remember the reason you gave. But, anyway... I see that you're showing it now... or at least it's appearing in your signature again at this writing. So, what's changed? And, by the way, I'm not bringing this up as some kind of negative or judgemental thing; or a trapping sort of tactic, or anything weird like that. I'm seriously interested. I've come to respect your opinion about the unaccredited but nevertheless credible seminaries/divinity schools, etc., and I'm just wondering: First, why you didn't want to list it; and, second, why you're back to listing it again now.

Actually, there are eight denominations working on a unity agreement... including the Disciples of Christ, American Baptist, AME and an association of community churches... At this point, the feeling is that individual congregations will go along with it, however, in the Disciples where congregtions are autonomous, there is no indication that there will be an up or down vote to accept or not.

I always find it interesting when denominations attempt to work together in the midst of so many denominational splits.

I have no problems with ecumenism.
