I have an MBA with 18 of the credits in Information Management. I’m looking for the correct letters for use on my resume. Would this be best represented as:

    MBA
    M.B.A.
    MBA/IM
    MBAIM

    Or some other combination?

    M.B.A. - Information Management

That's what I'd do. The "I.M." isn't a formal part of your degree title, is it? If it's a specialization, I'd just write it out.

Little Fauss is right. If Information Management is your specialization or concentration within your M.B.A. program, then I would write it just as he did. It does not matter whether you use periods or not in your degree title. I write mine either EdD or Ed.D. --they both mean the same thing.

MBA/IM would be a bit confusing, as it could mean Information Management, International Management or something else.

Thanks, I’ve typed it out in the education section, but want to use initials in the overview at the beginning. I’ll just go with MBA, I can’t imagine that can be wrong...
