According to the Breyer State site, John Dovelos now holds a PhD (summa cum laude, as if such a thing existed) from Robert de Sorbon. I think he is the first guy to put a UFRS credential right there on a web site for all to see. He still lags behind Richard J. Hoyer, but by less than before, listing advanced degrees from Saint Regis, Columbia Pacific, and James Monroe.

It is amusing how contagious academic fraud is.
An academic fraud bestows bogus degrees on others to make them academic frauds, they start up web forums to congratulate one another's academic fraud, and "Keeping up with the Jones's" academic fraud.

I don't know about you but I thought that the paper referred to in the link looked impressive.

I am not a proponent of this school ( in fact I never even heard of 'em) and since I do not have a research oriented degree I have no real comparison point for evaluating work done at a non accredited school but it looks good anyway.

Forgive me if I am making the mistake of lumping them all together if this is not a standard dissertation. I am not familiar with the type of work required but I guess it just goes to show or maybe not since I did not read it all, that good work can be done anywhere.

I guess he could have done this work at an RA school but for some reason he did not.

OK, I opened up the can of worms.

I've never looked at the faculty page for Breyer State before, but wow! Look at those degrees. Did you check out the credentials of the President, "Dr." Dominick?

    Three doctorates:

Doctorate in Hypnotherapy - Canyon College
PhD in Nursing Administration - Columbia Pacific
PhD in Business Management - California Coastal

An MBA from City University? in Bellevue Washington

A BSN from Youngstown State (the only legit degree in the bunch by my reckoning--unless the California Coastal degree is legit, I don't know much about them--although interestingly, BSN's was obtained in a community with perhaps what is historically the most notoriously corrupt government in the country)

And my favorite, a Bachelors in Metaphysics from the University of Metaphysics!

How do these people keep a straight face?

City University in Bellevue Washington is regionally accredited by the Northwest Association.

I definitely agree with your point, Little Fauss. I just don't want to diss City University, which offers a number of legitimate DL programs.

Sorry, I was concerned about stepping on some toes here due to my ignorance of some of the lesser-known but legit DL institutions.

So, standing corrected, I believe that the guy holds the following actual earned degrees:

MBA - City Univ (non-AACSB, but still a real school)
    BSN - Youngstown State

    Beyond that, seems mighty suspicious.
