Thanks for the reply! Would you or anyone else know any other schools that offer a similar type of program? I cant, for the life of me, find anything.

If you are particularly interested in intermational relations and international law, check out the ads in "Foreign Affairs" magazine.

Avoid the swimsuit issue, though. :D

Of bachelor's degrees, there are: Acadia University (http://conted.acadiau.ca/distance/index.html); Charter Oak State College (http://www.cosc.edu/dl/dl.htm); Christopher Newport University (http://www.cnuonline.cnu.edu); University of London (http://www.lon.ac.uk/external); University of Manitoba (http://www.umanitoba.ca/coned/de); Madurai-Kamaraj University (http://www.mkuniversity.org); Mary Baldwin College (http://www.mbc.edu/adp); Murdoch University (http://wwwonline.murdoch.edu.au); University of New England (http://www.une.edu.au/admissions/ext_prospective.htm); Queens University (http://www.queensu.ca/pts); University of South Africa (http://www.unisa.ac.za); and Southern Cross University (http://www.scu.edu.au).

Of master's degrees, I notice that nobody has yet mentioned Virginia Tech's OLMA (Online Master of Arts) in Political Science (http://www.vt.edu). From Alarming Idea's signature line, you will note that Harvard's ALM program offers a concentration in Government. Empire State College offers an MA in Policy Studies (http://www.esc.edu). Madurai-Kamaraj University (http://www.mkuniversity.org) offers an MA and an MPhil in Political Science. South Bank University (http://www.sbu.ac.uk/dlc/frames.html) appears to offer a thesis-only master's in political science, according to Bears' Guide. Of the universities down under, the University of Melbourne (http://www.unimelb.edu.au/research) and the University of New England (http://www.une.edu.au/admissions) seem to offer research master's degrees in poli sci.

Of doctoral programs, there are research docs, there are University of Luton (http://www.luton.ac.uk), the University of Melbourne, and South Bank University, according to Bears' Guide.

Just in case you haven't been warned yet, please don't ever approach a British-system university (incl. Britain, South Africa, India, Australia, and possibly a few others) asking to do a "distance learning" master's or doctorate or even a "thesis-only" master's or "dissertation-only" doctorate. I'm told they get rather thin-skinned about this, even though the thesis/dissertation-only format of British-system graduate education easily lends itself to what Americans would call DL. Instead, ask about "part-time" master's and doctoral degrees.
