    I dont gettit

Perdon. I don't get the meaning of what you mean "they used names" and such. What is the big deal?

From what I see of this:

    1) The university where Prof. Gollin works, writes a letter saying we know nothing of this.
    2) The university writes a letter saying they do know of this.

    With option number 1:

They won't sue Prof. Gollin, since they do not like the court of law.

Same thing happens with option number 2.

Don't you see saint regis does not like the court of law, so they will use northamerican scare tactics "I will sue you", they will not sue anybody. PERIOD.

I am guessing he is hitting where it hurts. The pocketbook! Keep up the good work! "We don't need no stinkin degree mills!"

P.S. Is it just me or does DLJ seem to be the semi-official SRU mouth piece?

The link seems to be broken. Why do these frauds put stuff up on the web, just to take it back down a short time later? What kind of direct accusation did these honesty challenged ethical cripples make this time?

I just tried it. As of 8:45 AM PST 3-5-2005, the page consists of set of links to what SRU calls false statements by Prof. Gollin.

    Then there's this notice:

NOTICE: To report any evidence of harassment & interference that appears to have been caused by George Gollin of University of Illinois and other individuals he may be involved with, please email [email protected] and Cyril Jones, Jones & Jones Attorneys,_ Monrovia Liberia, [email protected] (011) 231 227 002 including as much detailed documentation as possible.

And that's followed by a long densely written paragraph that includes these passages:

Professor George Gollin a tenured physics professor of University of Illinois seems to be...

interfering with many governmental and business relationships, interfering with contracts with unrelated third party (outsourced) US service providers and seemingly recruited Alan Contreras (recently sued by at least one school) a government official who admits publicly that he does no research...

It also appears to us that he may be conspiring with Chip White owner of "degreeinfo.com"...

St. Regis University does not and never has had any operations or presence in the U.S. ...

If George Gollin is simply a loose cannon we wish to give University of Illinois the opportunity to distance themselves from his statements and to take any appropriate actions. Unless ALL instances of misinformation spread by George Gollin of University of Illinois is withdrawn and ALL interference with governmental and business contractual relationships cease and ALL harassment ceases we will have no choice but to assume that the University of Illinois sanctions these activities and to begin considering legal and other, possibly media related remedies...

The letter from the Liberian National Commission on Higher Education appears to say that SRU is not accredited for Distance Education.

As aside, I note the letter heading address is Liberia, West Africa; this is the fist time I recall seeing a continent (or section thereof) on an address (unless the continent is also a country). Is this a African country practice?

    "media related remedies"

If I remember properly, the media attention to Saint Regis has not shown the organization in a favorable light. There have been television news stories in Spokane and Indianapolis, and newspaper articles in Spokane, Rochester, Georgia, some with national distribution. Reporters have been offered advanced degrees by Saint Regis and written about their purchases.

It is surprising that SRU might turn to the media to put forth more information about itself.

Liberia: home of the rule of law. Only Trujillito would think so.

If this is the case then this is the most damning evidence against SRU I've seen. His communications are neither fluent nor coherent. He weakens his cause every time he posts.

He reminds me a bit of the semi-famous Faro a Colo/n in Santo Domingo. The old joke was that every time the damn thing lit up, the lights would dim all over the city. Some posts are kinda like that.

did I say "carp" when I meant "sole?"

When the Black Helicopter shows up, ask the pilot if John explained the secret of how to avoid overcooking Dover Sole, please.

    thanks-
