I know someone that has come into several hundred comics. Is there a website that will give values of comics?
Buy a copy of the Overstreet guide or get a copy from the library. That is really the standard publication for prices and will give you good info on how to judge condition. Alternately, look up prices on milehighcomics.com, which is probably the biggest internet used and new comics retailer.
I know nothing about comic books... nor would I admit it if I did. That said, might one of the links on this Google search results page be of value? [sarcasm] Nice tie-in to distance education, by the way. [/sarcasm]
Re: Re: Does anyone know anything about comic books? This is off-topic and I tought...this is really off-topic Thanks
Hey, if I needed to know something about a subject where I was in the dark, I'd ask this group too -- so much knowledge here! That, or I'd just PM Uncle Janko regardless of topic, and fully expect a lengthy, complete, and entertaining answer. (bows respectfully) -=Steve=-
Keep in mind a lot of the value will depend on the condition of the comics. What your friend will probably find is he has a lot of comics that aren't worth much, and hopefully, a few "gems" worth quite a lot. (if kept in great condition).
