Thread: Bear's Guide - what a deal!

Here's someone trying to sell a copy of Bear's Guide (1988 edition) for $134.95. Ouch.

Well, well, Dr. Bear has joined the ranks of that :Desteemed theological scholar:D and Th.D. (Pikes Peak Seminary), Victor Paul Weirwille, whose books are being sold on the various used book sites for ridiculously exorbitant prices.

My book is over 10 years old now.

Here's the title:

• College Degrees by Mail
  Revised and Expanded for 1993-1994
  by John Bear, PhD.

The book was obviously purchased before the internet became so popular!!! It's all marked up, so it's probably lost most of its value, but I keep it for sentamental sakes, just to remind me that I started with nothing but a dream and an interesting book that fanned the flames of my dream.

That particular book is the smaller version and is now called Bear's Guide to College Degrees by Mail and Internet. The next edition is due out in May (with the big book due out this fall).
