A while back, one of the profs at UniZulu used a manual I wrote (self-published) as the text for his Honors course.

    Now I'm wondering...

Does this count for anything? I mean, is it worth mentioning in a resume? Does it carry any academic weight?

I was pleased, to say the least. But I wonder if it means anything from an academic perspective.

Would you mention this when applying for a lecture assignment?

    Yes.

    Yes.

    And Yes.

Howmuch and in what context is another questions. If the manaul was in the field that you are persuing and especialy if you could obtain a refernce letter from the prof, IMO it would mean a fair amount.

    Thanks, Mike.

That's a big help. I'd been wrestling with this matter for nearly a year.
