They claim to be located at 125-720 King St W, Toronto, ON M5V 3S5. I, for one, tend to believe this is their actual location because, as is traditional with entities such as this one, this is, coincidentally, the address of a Mail Boxes Etc.
In spite of a British sounding name and url, a Canadian address, and a Web host in Houston, TX, it appears that Solsbury University is actually operating out of San Francisco, CA. Solsbury University’s Web site (www.solsbury.org.uk [ 69.57.144.90 ]) is registered to gde at 601 Van Ness Ave. DPT E3250, San Francisco, Ca 94102. 601 Van Ness Ave. DPT E3250, San Francisco, Ca 94102 is, of course, the address of a The UPS Store (formerly Mail Boxes, etc.) location. It is, however, also the former address of San Francisco Technical University (http://www.sftech.org), which now appears to be defunct. Moreover, the fax telephone number on Solsbury University’s TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM is the same as the one that used to be listed for San Francisco Technical University, and the Web page for the TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM (http://www.solsbury.org.uk/release.htm ) is still entitled San Francisco Technical University. But wait, there’s more. Until recently, Scarsdale University also listed 601 Van Ness Ave. DPT E3250, San Francisco, Ca 94102 as the address for its Office of Admissions and Records. Moreover, although Scarsdale University’s Web site is registered through an anonymizing service, it is hosted on the same server as Solsbury University’s Web site.
Well, it seems that San Francisco Technical University (first mentioned by oxpecker on this forum on 09-27-2003, see here) is not defunct after all; they simply have a new Web site (http://www.sftechnical.org/). This new Web site, aside from being almost identical to that of Scarsdale University, is registered through the same anonymizing service and hosted on the same server. Also with a practically identical Web site and on the same server is Salsbury University (as well as Solsbury University, University of Switzerland, and others). Some of Scarsdale University’s Web pages describing their programs {see here and here) are also entitled San Francisco Technical University. It is interesting to note that although Scarsdale University claims to be located in London, England, a Google search shows more than one individual claiming degrees from Scarsdale University, San Francisco, CA (I guess that's where the checks were cashed). Galanga documented the relationship between some of these entities in this post, but it seems like these folks have been busy creating new mills.
