Here's a mayoral candidate in Florida who apparently obtained an MBA by correspondence from University of Southern California. I didn't know that USC offered such an option.

    Fourth mayor candidate opens account

    Here's USC's MBA programs:

    http://www.marshall.usc.edu/web/Graduate.cfm?doc_id=2344

They seem to offer a conventional full-time MBA, a part-time MBA (offered both at their main campus and at an Orange County satellite campus, but it's classroom work), an executive MBA (this one meets all day on fridays and saturdays and isn't divided into conventional classes), an MBA program taught in Shanghai, and an international business MBA (which seems to be classroom work).

No DL that I can see, but I might be missing something.

    From the Article:
The candidate said he has a bachelor's degree and an MBA from the University of Southern California, which he completed by correspondence in 2000.

What I would be interested in seeing is if he did the entire program via correspondence, or if he merely finished the degree via correspondence. In could see him, say finishing the final credits needed through independent study. I have known a few who have done this, albeit at other universities. Either way, it's an interesting option. I would like to see them offer their graduate degrees via DL. Especially their MBA and MSBA programs.

Not to be confused with "Southern California University" (aka SCUPS), I'm sure.
