This was published by http://www.gijobs.net (go to their site for the free pdf download of the article on this). Rankings were determined by the following weighting scheme:

40% percentage of total recruiting resources dedicated to hiring transitioning military and veterans

25% company policies on reserve and guard duty

20% percentage of new hires over the past year who were military veterans

15% internal military and veteran recruiting/training/promotional programs, plus community involvement

    Just thought I'd share.

    Cheers,
    Adrienne

Make no doubt about it - EDS is not a friendly company for ANYONE! After Perot left, the caretakers took it for all it is worth.

Home Depot is a low paid sweatshot in the same catagory as WalMart (come on ex-Ranger, you can do better than this!)

Lockheed: They don't call it the lazy L for nothin'!

SBC: You too can get laid off.. (and get hired back the same day as a contractor).

Exxon and Johnson Controls: Two of the best on the list.

It's hard for me to believe that Haliburton didn't show up on this list. After all, Haliburton IS the military, no?
