And many colleges morph into universities over the years so Buxton University may in fact be a real institution despite InstantDegrees.com selling diplomas in their name.
Hmmm. That's either the old grammar school or the technical college that's now the University of Derby College Buxton. My guess would be the grammar school. The section in the CV is undoubtedly referring to his A levels, as it's at exactly the same point where I'd put Price's College, Fareham (which also no longer exists) in my academic CV. Angela
