I am interested in a translation course offered by Intercollege,Ltd. The certificate I aim to gain is very important for me.Since I live in the Mddile East and do not have long experience in DL ,I need someone assure me that this college is well recognized. I quoted the names of the acriditation bodies.The most thing made me doubtful is that the college has no phone or fax numbers.All courses are offered online and the only way to contact them is e-mail. Intrcollege is a member NIACE "the National Institution of Adult Continuing Education /England and Wales".It is also a member of the National Grid for Learning Strategy which was founded by the Department for Education and skills and managed by the British Educational Communication and tecnology Agency. Intercollege Ltd also supports the e-learning initiative of the European Association for the Education of Adults, a Provider of ECDL training syllabus,and a Member of Knowlex "Professional eKnowledge Exchange".The college website is: . Although I cannot claim to have heard of this organisation prior to your posting, I can say the following: If you have nagging doubts in your mind shop around for alternatives. The organisations you have mentioned are NOT accrediting organisations nor, from what I have been able to learn from the internet, do they claim to be. NIACE is a members' organisation. NGLS is simply a listing of internet resources. My personal evaluation of Inter College Ltd is that it is a business that says that it is providing training services. Tread cautiously. musasira
