    Did somebody say "Shills"
Hey this is quite interesting in regards to credibility.

I just received this PM from a person on here who I will not name. Will my profile be terminated for exposing this about our respected members as the end the message states?

" Can't you see that it doesn't matter what you prove or say. The answer will always be the same.

The "experts" who run this board all run their own schools in one way or the other. Buxton is competition to them.

John Bear has run lots of schools. (doesn't admit to it much though)

Rich Douglas was involved with VIU and MIGS. He is running another school, but won't say which one.

For instance, George Brown worked for ICHM and now runs cordonbleu.com.au

Chip White used to sell "cancer cures".

If you don't believe they are shills, run their names in google groups. BTW: If you mention the past of any of these conmen on the board, you will have your login terminated by the moderators. "

    Nah,

I doubt your login shall be terminated.

Probably just tell you to do a "search" because for those of us that are new, this is hot off the press. For the rest its all old news and probably has been discussed "ad nauseum."

And James Hogan holds an MBA from a degree mill (Buxton) and RFValve a mill from the University of graceland.
So? What is the problem? You are taking this thing too personal my friend, it is not about you but about giving the right information to potential students.

The question is, "Did Mr. Hogan lie about getting this stuff via PM or is it his own original lie?"

I'll guess that he lied about the PM.

What's your point, Mr. Hogan? Do you believe anything and everything some anonymous Fred relates to you in a private message?

You have made (in an extremely cowardly fashion) some allegations that I doubt you can prove. As such, you are not exposing anything; you are just being a jerk.

I agree but would suggest that jerk be qualified/replaced with "dishonorable".

I taught at VIU, a B&M university seeking initial accreditation. I provided free advice and support to MIGS until it was clear that they either couldn't--or wouldn't--live up to the arrangement with the CEU that they advertised. What's your point? I'm fine with both.

As for "running another school," I wish. I could use that kind of money. In fact, tomorrow is my last day there (as a full-time employee; I may still teach). Where? Who cares? I don't use that as a means for proving some point; I've got plenty of gravitas in this field as it is. Oh, and several members of this board know which school it is/was.

I'll just point out that the local affiliate of Cordon Bleu here in the San Francisco area is the California Culinary Academy, probably the most prestigious chef's school in the state of California.

Frankly, I don't think that Buxton competes at all.

Yes, I admit it, guilty as charged. I did work for ICHM (http://www.ichm.edu.au) and I did (not currently as your shill impies, nor did I run it...it is actually owned and run by M. Andre Cointreau - yes, the one and only from the Cointreau-Remy dynasty) work for Le Cordon Bleu (http://www.lecordonbleu.com.au). This information is also clearly visible, for the world to see, on my website at http://www.degreeoftruth.com.au/Directors.htm. And the point is?

    Cheers,

    George

Hogan has intentionally confused affiliation with shilling. Coming from him, that's understandable. It's just one more lie. Perhaps Hogan is turning (back?) into Wilkinson. If Hogan needs a PM (presumably fictitious) to enable him to recite the dreary crap from the old psycho fora, he's not as good at shilling and lying as I initially considered him to be.

    Hogan:
the problem is not what some forum members may have done with their free time.
If they ever (mis)conducted any commercial operation, it's a matter for their appraisal & police authorities if need be.
Here they're only saying that, by quite a few criteria, BU seems very likely NOT to conform to standard academic requirement to issue "recognized" degrees.
For the rest, John Bear exposed & threaded "non traditional" schools according to criteria i would have used.
By this i mean parting the "duly accredited" from the not so duly or not so accredited.
If John Bear came here recommending some degree mill of sort ( ex not properly accredited ), i'd just class his comment as i would ones from people shilling the next exotic mills in the cannibal island.

James Hogan: "John Bear has run lots of schools. (doesn't admit to it much though)"

John Bear: Oh, my god. The secret is out. How did you know? How did you find out?

No, wait, I've been writing about my various involvements in my books and on-line, over the past 25 years. Consultancy with Columbia Pacific 26 years ago, paid for with a tiny minority share of the stock, disposed of more than 20 years ago. Two-month involvement with Fairfax before any students enrolled. About 18 months full-time with Greenwich in Hawaii, and no involvement since 1991. That's it.

Afraid of competition? If I owned and ran all three of those schools today and, let's say, the University of Phoenix for good measure, I'd regard the Dairy Queen as more serious competition than Buxton.

The most ridiculous part of Mr. Hogan's false accusations that makes the whole thing a huge lie is this sentence.

    1. He lists mostly people that only post here and have nothing to do with running this board.

    2. He doesn't list a single person that runs this board that is even associated with another school.

    3. The people that he does list are not running their own schools.

    4. The schools that he does list would not ever consider Buxton University any competition. Not even MIGS would consider BU any competition. BU is a most obvious scam and degree mill, at least MIGS looked like it might be legitimate.

    LOL!

Just another example of Hogan/Wilkinson posting flat out WRONG information. It is a classic case of disinformation. When you have no hope of winning any position you hold, just post unrelated and untrue allegations. It reminds of the AED B.S.

Yes, Dave, it appears warbird, Dr Fong et al have come back to play another round. Maybe this site should be hosted on freededicatedservers.com?

Hey guys, can I run a school? C'mon, it doesn't have to be a big school, maybe just a little school. Oh yeah, I can see it all now. My name up in lights...the crowds assemble to buy their tickets...the lights come up...
    Oh, sorry, wrong fantasy.
