I went to the theater to see The Two Gentleman of Verona last night. I was sitting between my wife and her lit professor and I noticed the Work Cited in the program was not in the proper format.

    The works cited listed …
2nd Edition. rather than just 2. I was outraged. What kind of monster have I become? My wifes lit professor agreed with me and said she wished all her students better understood APA format.

I guess that LS6010 class is really paying off!

I'm glad to see that you're making the adjustment. ;) Of course, I must point out that there are other methods of citation. After years of using the APA method I was somewhat surprised and displeased to find that my new program required the Harvard method. I didn't last long enough to really learn it completely. Hey, maybe I can use that as the excuse, err, reason I dropped out. Yeah, that's the ticket, it was that darn Harvard method that did me in.

Did you miss a bit "2"? My 5th edition APA manual calls for (2nd ed.)

You were "outraged"? Ummm, Randell, you DO need a break from your PhD program. :)
