Name Your Thread Wisely

Here is a bit of advice and encouragement for our newer participants. Do not name your threads things like "I'm glad to be here" or "Question" or "Good evening". Thread names like that, however well meant, do not tell the rest of us what you want to know. Name your threads things like the following, and people who know something on the topic or question will be likelier to notice the thread and be of help to you:

    "Goat Husbandry PhD Wanted"
"DL Opportunities in fill in your country's name here"
    "Is Beavis-Butthead Polytechnic Really Accredited?"
    "Is a Zip.D. Equivalent to a Ph.D.?"
"Why Does Russell Do That?" (But be nice!)

    And so forth.

    -------

Moderators: If appropriate, move THIS thread to Off-Topic. I was unsure where to put it. Janko

    Hello Uncle -
If you happen to know of a PhD program in Goat Husbandry , I'd appreciate your posting the link. One of the possible scenarios for my new situation is a dairy goat farm. Udderology?

Could it be a mill? Would the goats care?

Wow, and I thought B&B Polytechnic was the funny one.

In any case, the point is important. The more content in a thread name, the likelier productive answers become--and the more searchable the thread will remain in future.

    :p
