Guess TS\hurricane Jeanne wants to visit Florida, too: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ftp/graphics/AT11/refresh/AL1104W5%2BGIF/170313W5.gif As of 11 AM 9/19/04 NOAA has Jeanne doing a loop and heading towards Fla!
All these hurrricanes are really screwing the launching of satellites from CCAFS. Jeanne is followed by Karl. Details of both Atlantic and Pacific tropical storms/hurricanes together with tracks and probabilities is at www.nhc.noaa.gov
Well, maybe. The latest Sun-Sentinel report seems to indicate otherwise.... http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/southflorida/sfl-jeanne,0,5082345.story?coll=sfla-home-headlines Also, if you look at the computer models, the latest ones all have it heading EAST. The two that took it towards Florida after a few days are the oldest runs (8 p.m. last night).
Re: Re: Tropical Storm Jeanne changes her mind Not so fast........ http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/southflorida/sfl-jeanne,0,5082345.story?coll=sfla-home-headlines Posted September 22 2004, 5:22 PM EDT Though it appears headed for the Carolinas or even farther north, Hurricane Jeanne already is producing pounding waves and dangerous rip currents along the entire Florida coastline, and particularly in Palm Beach County, which could see 8- to 10-foot swells by the weekend.
Re: Re: Re: Tropical Storm Jeanne changes her mind I know. I live there. Time to batten down the hatches.
I don't think they know where this one is going. Once they start circling, it seems to be anyone's guess. I'm still cleaning up stuff from Ivan.
