Out of curiosity, every time I log into the forums board - there is a section that shows the currently active users. I notices that this is mentioned every time I look: What happened on that day at tha particular time to generate so many visitors to our site?

I vaguely recall that Degreeinfo had been down for a short while due to technical problems or something. So when it came back up lots of people logged on at once.
