University's Dramatic Turnaround

Has a ranking of research funding provided to various South African universities.

 

I'm not suprised to find that UNISA is not at the top of this list. After all, this is not their mission. But to discover that they're not on the list at all is surprising. It would be interesting to see a listing of the post-merger schools. Probably not much different, except for a few name changes.

I should have made clear that the NRF funds scientific research (somewhat like our NSF -- though on a much much smaller scale).

This is not what Unisa does.
