I notice that another degreeinfo.com participant, with whom I coincidentally share a doctoral alma mater, recently announced that his dissertation is available from UMI. I'm still not quite sure why he made this announcement, for all it has accomplished is to bring out the trolls. (It has, however, given us the opportunity to hear once again from the always excellent Gus Sainz, who is the only person I have seen on this forum who actually spelled façade with the cedilla.) Nonetheless, I have an important announcement to make: My dissertation is also available from UMI. But then, it has been available from UMI since I wrote it 13 years ago. Now go nuts, discuss, and digress. I, being above the fray of such things, shall have no further comment on the matter, which I consider closed.
Steve, have you lost your magic touch for calling the trolls? I guess that we'll just have to wait and see.
