"Transtopia" I scored: MEMETIC SHOCK LEVEL 04 (0-4): the pinnacle. Transtopian, or pretty close to it. Progressive and hardcore with very few taboos. Looks like we have a WINNER here (either that or a major CHEAT)! -- Does this make me a some sort of weirdo or something? -Jassen
Re the first quiz: I got a little queasy when I reached the section on superiority of races and forced eugenics, but when I got to the section on Holocaust denial, I didn't even bother finishing the quiz--and I consider myself a borderline transhumanist. These folks have taken some aspects of the transhumanist agenda, added in some principles from some rather frightening sources, and successfully provided us a glimpse of what Hell might be like--a mix of the worst that both extreme liberalism and extreme conservatism have to offer. If this is a dystopian reductio ad absurdum of transhumanist movements, I congratulate them. If it isn't, I hope I never meet these people. I don't know how I scored, but I'm confident I would qualify as pretty darned "unenlightened" by their standards. Please don't judge transhumanism by this quiz; the one has little to do with the other. Jassen, I don't mean this as a value judgment on you at all. Some of the questions were worded in such a way that, unless you looked at the links, you might not have realized just how extreme the "correct" answers were. Re the second quiz: 80/20 left-liberal, which sounds pretty accurate. The Political Compass--my personal favorite political quiz--is slightly lengthier, but tries to do much the same thing. (I scored -3.62/-3.54--3.62 in the direction of the economic left and 3.54 in the direction of libertarianism, placing me in the "libertarian left" quadrant.) Cheers,
