That was amazing. Even when seeing the two grey bars in the proof section, my brain wanted to see different colors!
Great illusion! I used to be a studio technician in a mid-market television station. One of the strange things I learned is that the eye will automatically adjust its color sense for the ambient color temperature of a scene IF the observer is right there but NOT if the same scene and light are viewed through television or film. Window yes; video monitor, no. I still don't know why.
