Since I completeed my MS-ITM, I just applied to 6 schools for online teaching positions. I am really excited and I hope someone contacts me. It will be great to make some extra money. My goal is to use the extra money to buy something I have always wanted - food. Only joking, I want to buy a Jaguar! Has anyone else had any luck applying for online positions with little teaching experience (I am a sub for a tech school and I am a corporate trainer) and getting hired?
The July AAA magazine says the Jag (S I think) is built on a Lincoln chassis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck with your applications.
Re: Re: Just applied to 6 schools for online teaching positions Well, yeah, it's a Ford at heart, innit (ack). S-Types are ugly and common, you want an XK8, Randell. You know you do ;-) Good luck with the job hunt . . . and let the rest of us know if you find one that'll finance an XK8. Angela
Re: Re: Re: Just applied to 6 schools for online teaching positions I actually prefer the XJ. I do not like the XK8. I think I would need to settle[/b] for the X Type.
Some schools that are always looking are: Walden University Capella University University of Phoenix Nova University However, a PhD is normally the minimum credential to teach even as an adjunct at most of the DL schools. It used to be easy to get by with a master's degree but requirements are getting higher every day. Even B&M universities are requiring PhDs for part time and adjunct positions while before the MBA was the normal credential.
Well it took 11 years but I am buying a Jag! I should be picking it up on Friday. This is exactly like the one I should be getting - https://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaguar_S-Type#/media/File:2001_Jaguar_S-Type.JPG
I don't apply. I seek out relationships that sometimes lead to other things, like teaching opportunities. Just let one go a couple of days ago and also recently picked up one.
I don't read Danish, I just happened to find the light green 2002 Jag on that site when I Googled it.
I can't wait to get it! I am going to keep my other car...you know...just in case I need it...or my wife claims this one.
