The "St. Regis University’s Right To Reply Regarding Compliance with Contreras Guidelines" thread seems to have vanished. What happened? Too much like allowing an unwonderful organization to promote itself? It seemed like the thread would give people a useful opportunity to comment on inaccuracies in the SRU statement.

I was wondering if Bruce would let that stay up. It appeared to me to just be an SRU apologetic copied verbatim.

It might make sense to post a link to whatever SRU page the text came from, and then discuss exerpts here.

I am glad that the thread was deleted. There is no need to say that I agree completely with the action that the moderators took because I do very strongly.

Me too (as the other poster on that thread). All I did was point out the lie that there is such a thing as an ABD degree. There isn't. There is such a thing as obdurate gullibility, upon which trolls and shills both feed. Removal of crud like SRU propaganda is a good idea. For every old-timer who sees through it, there may well be a novice who doesn't.

My major complaint was that it apparently wasn't copied properly. I hope that the person that copied it had dropped some attribute of the type that had more easily distinguished between the "sane statements" and the "amusing arrogant responses".

I found it amusing that someone apparently thought that SRU had actually rebutted anything rather than making themselves look even more ridiculous. I'm slightly disappointed by the deletion but understand that it was little more than an attempt at an advertisment for a roaring degree mill. I guess that I find audacious arrogant incompetence more amusing than most people?

It is so interesting how St Regis has created a whole fictional history that is pushed by the shills even though anyone with minor skills and 5 minutes can prove it wrong.

Yesterday I found an early pre-Liberia NBOE website on Wayback that was selling accreditation to degree mills for $500. With the Liberian connection, this was raised to $50,000.

That's a nice way of putting it.
