High school diploma mill

    This is not nearly as shocking as the thousands of diplomas that are basically given away every year to students that have questionable eligibility for special education services at accredited public high schools throughout the country.

    In the country where I live, only 30% of high school graduates go on to college. Of those, about 75% need either math or English remediation before they are prepared to take freshmen English and college algebra.

    And these are high schools that are supposedly accredited by WASC!
