I read about these people only yesterday in the Seattle Times. I had never heard of them before. They are a free-standing entity not affiliated with any of the local Seattle colleges or universities. I remember thinking how odd it was that the state authorized them to grant degrees, not being part of an existing recognized educational institution. The program seems to be geared towards environmental issues and the business implications thereto.
