UoP President, Laura Palmer Noone, is quoted extensively. Noone holds a Ph.D. from Union Institute and University.

It's indeed complimentary. Many mainstream newspapers have commenced to present online learning in a positive fashion. Both New York Times and Wall Street Journal have carried articles that are genial to distance education. I believe that the mass media in general have a big role to play in enlightening the general public about distance learning. Enlightenment is sine qua non to acceptability and respectability that distance education direly deserves.

    I really like this part:

I bought my Apollo stock in the summer of 2002 @ $31 share. Now it is around $90 share. They must be doing something right!

    Just my opinion

Methinks that this for-profit thing works in educational business.

You are right. Give adult students instructors they can respect and relate to and they will come. And from the looks of things, in droves!
