Congratulations, JoAnn! Senior Members are entitled to a certain number of excusable “senior moments” per year. For some reason, however, I can’t remember exactly how many. :D

Not to mention the lovely fruit basket and floral arrangement. I loved the pineapple.

Congratulations, JoAnnP38. You have been inducted into an elite segment of humankind, those who by virtue of a medical condition known as OCD/Millphobia are obsessed with DL. ;)

    Thanks Everyone!

Thanks to everyone for their heart-felt congraduations and encouragement. I just received my fruit basket by FedEx today and that Pineapple sure was juicy. I'm still practicing the secret handshake, but with luck I'll get it right by the time I'm ready to enter the clubhouse.

Nobody has mentioned the criterion for becoming such. I suspect that it is 100 posts.

Indeed! This is why senior members usually fit the definition of an OCD/Millphobic. One who posts 100 times on a given subject is usually at least mildly obsessed with the subject, therefore, Dr. Chip White offers discounts to senior members on prescriptions of Paxil and Wellbutrin. This allows for a more balanced forum and less violent outbursts from participants (although a few do occur). ;)

Congrats !!!! From experience (limited thought it is) I'll tell you that it doesn't feel much different going from a "Newbie Member" to a "Senile Member". But Dr. Chips discounts on the Paxil and Wellbutrin will help you feel like there is a difference.

One more for me to become a Senior Member. Is great, I can continue to post that by Federal Law Accreditation is an "voluntary membership” (Authority: 20 U.S.C.1099b)
    http://www.ed.gov/legislation/FedRegister/finrule/1999-4/102099a.html#subpartb

That “responsibility for governing the conduct of higher education is decentralized in the various state governments” http://www.unesco.org/iau/cd-data/us.rtf

Because the federal government says that to be an institution of higher education, the university need to be “legally authorized to provide an educational program beyond secondary education in the State in which the institution is physically located” (Code of Federal Regulations 34CFR600.4) Authority: 20 U.S.C. 1094, 1099b, and 1141(a)

This is great, right Pastor Uncle
