I am excited to say that I have a scholarship in my family name. I spoke to the vice principal of the high school I graduated from in New Jersey and I have set up a scholarship. It is a lump sum of money that will be used to help many students with financial need with expenses associated with applying to colleges. It will cover SAT fees, application fees, etc. I am just so happy that I wanted to share this information.
Of a similar note and geared towards USNY-Excelsior alumni. Named scholarships can be put in place at Excelsior. Some of these have grown considerably in size. I believe the minimum donation is $500.00 John
