Possible penalties under the Oregon law can be found here: http://arcweb.sos.state.or.us/rules/OARS_500/OAR_583/583_050.html

In addition, some literature where I can find what happen to the doctor that has the Berne doctorate in Oregon. I know that the State order the doctor to not use the doctorate, but what happens in the Court of Justice? PhD Pacific Western University MA Caribbean University BA American University
I presume you are referring to Dean Darris at Clackamas Community College. I think the expectation is that he will ultimately get a fine. The latest I have on this case is here: Oregon Student Assistance Commission meeting of November 21, 2003
Here are the January minutes: http://www.osac.state.or.us/pdf/meeting313.pdf These are interesting pieces of Alan's report: Degree Validation Cases - The active cases continue. The Department of Justice is working on the correct procedure for penalty hearings. … Other Activities - The ODA diploma mill website is going to be linked to the Oregon Department of Justice and probably to the U.S. Department of Education as the “baseline” site for public information. Alan will be meeting in Washington, D.C., in mid-January with a small working group from the Department of Education and interested parties. The feds are paying the travel.
I think...I think that the professor in question was on the forum in January, right??/ I am not sure of the thread, but he was defending his degree...I know I am right on this.
